Welcome to Day 2 of the 25 Day Success Challenge

So did you make a conscious decision to take up my challenge?

Did you choose some things which you’ve been putting off for a while?

Even if it is just committing to do as many press-ups as you can do in 3 minutes. Imagine how much healthier you’ll feel after 3 minutes of press-ups every morning for 25 straight days.

My own personal challenge is creating your content every day.

As with most entrepreneurs I’m really busy every day. It really is going to be a challenge to find the time to create quality content for you every day.

So here is Day 2: Greg’s 8-Step Morning Ritual

“YOUR LIFE IS AN EXAMPLE OF YOUR DOMINANT THOUGHTS!!”

One of the greatest boosts I have had in my life was when I discovered the power of Morning Rituals. You might have heard that how you start your day, is how you end your day.

I feel it is essential to start every day as you mean to go on. If you decide to join me and to begin doing this morning ritual I am sure you that you will feel massively better throughout every day.

The whole idea about having a morning ritual is to empower you to perform at your best every day.

Morning rituals give you an awesome start to every day. Here are my steps to start your day in a very positive and empowering way. You can modify my morning ritual to suit yourself later, but start out for this challenge as I have laid out.

Then you can have a proper understanding of a workable Morning Ritual.

Step 1: Drink Water

After oxygen, the next most important thing that our bodies require is water. It is a little known secret that having a large glass of water as soon as you wake up has many therapeutic benefits.

  • 70% of your body is water
  • Your brain cells contain about 85% of water.
  • 75% of your muscles is water
  • Your bones contain about 25% water
  • 82% of your blood consists of water.

Once you wake up, you are massively dehydrated. Your body is crying out for nourishment from water. That’s why the first part of my morning ritual is always to drink a big cup of water as soon as I wake up.

I try to drink at least 1 big cup of water, usually 2 to make sure I’m fully hydrated.

Step 2: Priming

The next part of my ritual is something I do called Priming Priming is something that I learned from Master Coach Michael Bolduc. It’s a 10-minute exercise that primes you for gratitude and strength.

It’s something that I try to do every morning while sitting on my bed. Here’s how it works….

  1. Sit upright on your bed with your legs crossed and your eyes closed.
  2. Take 30 really deep, strong breaths in and out through your nose, while raising your hands up and down. Make sure to inhale and exhale through your stomach and do it rapidly.
  3. Think of 3 things in your life that you are grateful for. Think of anything, however big or small. Try to find gratitude in all of the things in your life.
  4. Do another 30 explosive breaths in and out through your nose.
  5. Think of 3 things you want to achieve in your day ahead. It can be small things like going for a walk at lunchtime.  Or completing some press-ups before dinner. Focus and visualize those 3 things as if they are real.
  6. Do another 30 explosive breaths in and out through your nose.
  7. Last, finish by thanking your creator. Open your eyes and you’re done.

This process has been fantastic in helping me start the day in a totally uplifting way. Breathing is an important step in any morning ritual, as oxygen is the most important thing that the body requires.

Step 3: Incantations

During my 7-minute workout (which you’ll hear about soon) I focus on conditioning my mind through incantations. This is another strategy that I learned from my Coach Michael Bolduc.

Incantations are positive statements said out loud with emotional intensity. When you speak things out loud with emotion, you begin to condition your nervous system into believing what you’re saying. Incantations give you a lot of power to shape your beliefs and emotions.

Here are some examples of incantations, but you will need to create your own…

“I, Greg Noland, see, hear, feel & know that I am a confident person. My life purpose is to be active, contribute and make a difference in people’s lives!”

Or…

“I am a determined person who is achieving all my goals to live my ideal and extraordinary life”

My Life Goals

I also like to combine my life goals with my incantations to get really pumped. I believe that focusing on your goals every day is an extremely important part of achieving them.

This makes sure you’re always reminded of them and focused on what you want in life.

Here are some examples of goals you could set for yourself:

“I will write my book within the next 60 days!”

“I will create a list of the 100 most important people I need to meet

“I will do my new exercise routine every day as soon as I wake up!”

Step 4: 7 Minutes of Exercise

The next most important part of my morning routine is to get moving.

It’s short enough that it won’t impact the rest of your morning routine and long enough to shake off any sleepy feelings. Remember too, that movement is one of the easiest and fastest ways to change your state.

Currently, I am using this routine shown on this website, www.7-min.com but you can use any exercise routine you find, or design your own 7-minute burst of energy. Moving your body can mean going for a walk, running, dancing, jumping up and down, or anything that gets your blood flow moving.

Step 5: Empowering Questions

During the next part of my morning routine, I will direct my focus by asking myself empowering questions. I often like to do this part while I am brushing my teeth and while I’m taking my shower. Whatever you focus on you feel.

By directing your focus, you will change your state. The most powerful way of doing this is through questions.

Here are some of the questions that I ask myself every morning:

What am I most grateful for in my life right now?

What am I committed to achieving today?

Who specifically can I help today?

How specifically am I going to help someone today?

Step 6: Breakfast: Start your day with a fruit smoothie.

You’ll be shocked at the amount of unstoppable levels of energy you can get from a fruit smoothie. I’ve found that blending any variety of fruits, a few of ice cubes and some flax seeds is an energizing way to start the day. Try it.

Step 7: Plan Your Day

I usually plan my day before I go to bed. I have a pad beside my bed and review the goals I have for that day, week and month.

During breakfast, I like to go over my plan so it is fresh in my mind for the whole day. I often write out 3 goals for the day on a separate piece of paper and put that in my breast pocket. Then throughout the day I will take this out and read over my goals again and again.

This helps me to stay focused on my main goals, and helps me take action on them to have the biggest impact in my life.

Tony Robbins says:

When you talk about something, it’s a dream. When you envision it, it’s exciting. When you plan it, it’s possible. But, when you schedule it, it’s real –

Step 8: Empowering Beliefs

I have a list of empowering beliefs that I like to read out loud. The key is to consciously choose what you WANT to believe and condition yourself by saying them out loud.

If it is not possible to say these empowering beliefs out loud, you can still go over them in your mind.

For example, some of the empowering beliefs I use to condition myself at the start of every day are:

“I love my life!”

“What I do today, shapes my day and creates my tomorrow.”

“Nothing is better than eating and being healthy!”

“I am generous and loving to all my friends and family!”
