How are you going with this success series?

Are you starting to see more clarity in the direction you need to go?

Once you start making changes in your life, you’ll start to see results. That’s the fun part…

One of the very best things about the business you and I are in is this…

We can go out at night for a really quality meal with our loved ones and closest friends, and know that while we are out we are earning money into our PayPal accounts…

Don’t you just love that?

I was reminded of this just last weekend…

One of my copywriting clients, who has grown into being one of my closest friends was in town…

Now Jony is a very successful businessman and earns a very good income in the property business…

We’ve only known each other about 3 years after he contacted me to write the copy for one of his new villa developments…

We hit it off immediately, and both benefit immensely by bouncing business ideas off each other…

But more about Jony in a moment, first I want to remind you about something…

Remember I mentioned on Day 3 – ‘Spend Time With Positive People – Only!’

I believe this is crucial to your success…

We are all susceptible to a bruised ego, entrepreneurs perhaps more so…

So when we are around negative people, bitchin about the economy, moaning about the price of oil…

And worse…saying our business projects will never take off…

Well, it’s demoralizing and wasteful.

All that negative energy is bound to rub off onto us…

Solution?

Get rid of them from your circle of friends…

Easy to say, hard to do?

Sure it is. Often really hard.

Took me years to get rid of some really heavy baggage out of my life. But I’ve never looked back since.

But best decision I ever made.

Remember, there is a theory that you ‘become like the people you spend the most time with’.

And as the great Jim Rohn said:

“You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with.”

Can we change our friends’ bad attitudes to life?

Well, Kris Carr says –

“The only time you can change someone is when they are in diapers” – Kris Carr (@kris_carr)

Say no more…

How Do You Break Up With A Lifelong Friend?

If you’re having trouble shaking off a longtime friend who you know is zapping your energy and ruining your chances of success I have a video for you to watch by the amazing and ever so cute, Marie Forleo:

So How About A Few Success Tips For This Glorious Day?

Before I give you a few solid tips on improving your chances of success, I have to get one thing straight…

“Knowledge is useless unless you act”

One key strategy to change up your life and improve your productivity is to change your surroundings and especially your workspace.

  1. Move your bed to the other side of the room…

Hinduism advises that it’s best to avoid sleeping with our head to the north or west. They believe the direction your head faces while sleeping has a strong effect on your physical and mental well-being.

The Indian Ayurvedic tradition believes that sleep positions decide the kind of energy you want coming into your life, with sleeping facing the East and South being the most beneficial.

There is a science to it.

If you have trouble getting a decent night’s sleep. This could be the reason.

Worth a try, right?

You’ve nothing to lose.

  1. Paint your bedroom walls…

Do you get 8 hours sleep per night?

If you do then that’s a third of your life.

Worth investing in improving your sleep space then, wouldn’t you agree?

An easy way to do that is with a fresh coat of paint.

But what colour should you use?

Do you need a soothing blue? Or an energizing yellow?

Do a bit of research and freshen up your sleep patterns.

  1. Take a different direction to work…

To energize your brain in a simple way try taking a new route to work.

When you choose a different route to work you can buzz your brain to do things it’s not used to. This extra stimuli is like problem solving or finding creative solutions.

Alternatively, instead of driving to work, try taking public transport for a week.

Walk some of the way to boost your fitness…

Then the next week, cycle to work.

Especially while the weather is good, this new way of getting to work could work wonders for you.

This could also help give you new focus and new inspiration to your life.

When you don’t have to concentrate on driving a car, you can focus on thinking about changing up your life, just as I have been showing you in this ‘9 Part Blog Series’.

This may seem like a small thing, but by going out of your way to find new ways to get to work you are changing your input naturally. You will see new things, think about new things and make new connections.

  1. Even, swop bedrooms, or move house…

Have you got a spare bedroom?

Try sleeping in there for a month and see if you can switch things up a bit.

I truly think you can get sedentary by following the same routines all the time.

You can really benefit by changing things around in your life.

  1. Try going vegetarian for a month

Why not take ‘the Meatless Challenge’?

Do you fancy changing up your diet for a month? Why not give this challenge a try? I reckon you’ll feel much healthier because of it.

I’m not against eating meat. I love a good steak like anyone from time to time.

And a juicy bacon and sausage sandwich is hard to beat.

But I do like to try cut back on meat from time to time.

You can still enjoy a balanced diet without meat. Meals packed with vegetables and whole grains still fill you up and leave you full of energy and satisfaction.

If you don’t believe me just take part for the month and give it a go.

You never know you might just learn something about yourself.

Check out their 28-days of recipe ideas on the link below:

  1. Try the 22 Press Ups a day Challenge

Did you know that 22 US Veterans commit suicide every day? That’s tragic. Unfortunately, this situation is echoed in the British former-service community. In fact, suicide is the single biggest cause of death among men under 45 in the UK. So why not show your support for servicemen everywhere and take the ’22 Pushup Challenge’?

https://www.facebook.com/22PushupChallenge/

So try ‘Shake your life up’ a bit…

But #1 – Take Positive Action!

I’ve covered a lot today..

So make sure you find the time to implement some of the ideas I have given you.

That’s all for now…

Final Thoughts on Ramping Up Your Chances Of Success

Ok, time to get to the gym, but I’d like to leave you with this brief summary, key tips if you will, on ramping up your chances of success as an entrepreneur…

Understand your market

Your first task is to deeply understand your target market. Conduct market research to learn about your potential customers’ needs, preferences, and behaviors. Understand the competitive landscape. Use these insights to shape your product or service and craft effective marketing strategies.

Unique Value Proposition (UVP)

Define your UVP. This is what makes your product or service unique and attractive to your target customers. Your UVP should differentiate you from your competitors and convince potential customers to choose you.

Build a strong brand

A strong, recognizable brand can set you apart from competitors and create trust with customers. Your brand should convey your UVP and resonate with your target market. Invest time and resources into creating a compelling logo, brand name, and brand story.

Master digital marketing

In today’s digital age, online marketing is key to reaching a wide audience. Build a professional, user-friendly website. Leverage SEO to improve your website’s visibility in search engines. Use social media platforms to engage with your audience and share valuable content. Consider using pay-per-click (PPC) advertising to reach more potential customers.

Content is king

High-quality, valuable content can drive traffic to your website, improve your search engine rankings, and establish you as an authority in your field. Use content marketing to educate your audience, answer their questions, and solve their problems.

Leverage data and analytics

Use data and analytics to guide your decision-making. Track key metrics related to your marketing campaigns to understand what’s working and what’s not. Use this information to optimize your strategies and improve your return on investment.

Iterate and optimize: In the world of marketing, you should always be testing, iterating, and optimizing. Continually test different strategies and approaches. Learn from your failures and successes. Continually optimize your strategies to improve results over time.

Network like a beast

Building a strong network of relationships with other entrepreneurs, potential customers, and industry experts is crucial. It’s WHO you know, remember?

Networking can open up new opportunities, provide valuable insights, and help you learn from others’ experiences.

Master Customer service

Exceptional customer service can differentiate you from competitors and turn one-time buyers into loyal customers.

Pro tip: Try to treat every customer like they are your best friend’s mother or father. Make it easy for customers to get in touch with you. Address their concerns promptly and professionally. Strive to exceed their expectations.

Stay resilient

Finally, as an entrepreneur, you’re bound to face challenges and setbacks. Stay resilient. Learn from your failures and keep going. Remember why you started your business and keep your long-term goals in sight.

In summary, success in entrepreneurship and marketing doesn’t come overnight. It requires a deep understanding of your market, a strong unique value proposition, effective online marketing, high-quality content, data-driven decision-making, continuous optimization, networking, exceptional customer service, and resilience. By following these tips, you can ramp up your chances of success.
